Objectives: The objective of this class is to increase lifelong physical activity levels,and to increase knowledge of many sports.
Monday- Wednesday 7th Grade
Tuesday- Thursday Schedule: 6th Grade and 8th Grade
Daily Procedure: When you walk into the gym you are allowed time to switch into your tennis shoes. You need to make sure your shoes do not make black marks on the floor. Please make sure you wear appropriate shoes and clothing. This means no cut off t-shirts, no skirts or dresses and absolutely no flip flops or sandals.
At the end of class I will allow you some time to switch back into your shoes. I will also require you to bring deodorant and leave it here. Before you line up you will have time to put it on before your next class. A small one should last you the whole year.
The only reason to get out of PE is if you are hurt and can’t participate. I will need to have a note from a doctor or parent for it to be excused so i know what your restrictions are. Any day you are gone from PE you will need to make it up so you receive your five points.
Grading: There are 5 points possible each day. Failure to apply will allow you to lose points. Deduction from the 5 points are as follows:
You can run a mile.
Ride a bike for 10 minutes-6th Grade, 15 minutes-7th, 20 minutes-8th
Do a Current Health Magazine- with one page summary.
Jump Rope for 10 minutes.

- Good Sportsmanship- Inappropriate language. Foul language will not be tolerated.
- You must wear tennis shoes to class.
- Do the stretching with the class.
- You must do the warm up
- You must do the activity that we are doing for the day.
